AX!

While the AA layout and combination with the vendors wasn't as great as expected it was still very fun to see and be with everyone again.

A great last year at AX (I'll be joining the CHP (California Highway Patrol) hopefully by the end of this year in order to have a stable job that will keep me active and fit)

you really missed out on the fun this year XD. But at least you got to see us via 's webcam.

Day 0:

Left at 3am (we were supposed to leave at 2am but someone was late *coughpandacough*) with , , , 's brother, , , , , 's friend, and Panda.
It was a 3 car caravan. XD;

We got to LA around 10-11am. I got the hotel for the AA group checked in then ran into a grown up looking (YOUR BABY CHEEKS!! TAT (still cute tho!)) and her b/f, had no idea you were a shota-con hiku! XD. Then I had to go get from and (the adorable cuties) at the Sheraton since her flight had come in the day before.

Afterward we had the hell of trying to check in the Cosplay hotel since would be arriving late. That was a big pain in the ass since AX hotel reg screwed up the hotel reg. Everything should have been under my name but instead the hotels were listed under 3 different people's names from the hotel rooms. It took 3 hours and two different clerks to figure it out x.x; We were late picking up ~Seilen and his friend because of it, and I had left , and hiku's bf in the car (luckily they were in shade, but we pissed off two valets XD).

Picking up and his friend was pretty easy. I was very tired at this point though since I didn't really sleep before we left for LA (so basically I hadn't slept for about 32-36 hours at this point, and the last time I had slept it was only for 5 hours or so). After dropping everyone's stuff at the hotel we headed out to the con on foot to get our badges. It was a nice walk though a bit long; but it seemed to go fast with everyone talking. XD

When we got there the line was HUGE! We passed by our cosplay room groupies of , , and others without a DA. =3 Both myself and hid under an umbrella that had brought (thank god he did b/c I burn easily). He also brought sun screen which I promptly borrowed and used. XD
after getting everyone's badges we went back to the hotel and settled in a bit. Some of the group went out to eat while , and I went back to the airport to get and (both are soo cute!) who had mistakenly gotten a late flight rather than a early afternoon flight (kind of a good thing though b/c not all of the luggage would have fit in my trunk if they had XD)
No clue what time we went to bed... lol;;;

Day 1:
Dropped off , his friend, and near the con center, but in the wrong area. they went up the exhibitor area (don't do that kids, JenB won't allow it next year XD), luckily they were nice enough to let them drop off everyone's stuff in the AA before kicking them out and sending them around to the AA line inside.
The line for the AA was LONG...and the desk for check-in seemed really understaffed. They split the lines up A-M and L-Z, and the L-Z line moved a lot faster than the A-M line XD
After setup we were all pretty chill. Our group was D34-36.
Closed down and headed back to the hotel (AA hours weren't the best this year b/c of us being in the exhibit hall).
I forget what we did for dinner....

Day 2:
Walked to the con, when we got to the AA we saw that someone's overly merchandised display had met it's end ( lol-ed so hard XD). Set up quickly and wandered the AA, picked up 's prints which had fallen down (unlike the other person, Haku is a sweety <3) I think stopped by this day XD Not quite sure though *bad memory* Saw and on the end of our island finally. They have the most awesome cosplay~ |D brought us panda express and quizno's for lunch <d
joined us at our hotel for the rest of the con, we had dinner at Mikoshi's then chilled at the hotel and watched and attack . XD took on a dare later and jumped in the pool fully dressed for $20, and I faked out by picking her up and pretending to put her in the water; she did lose a shoe in the pool though and had to jump in again and get it out. XD Then they changed gears and and dressed up in my blouse and 's skirt and we all walked down to the smoothie shop for ice cream/smoothies, still in drag XD. He got looks from everyone, one mom freaked out and tried to hide it from her kids' eyes; officers walked by twice, but the best part was when the Yaoi Press walked in for ice cream XD

Day 3:
BIRTHDAY FOR COLE!

Busy day too!~
AA, resumed drag-moe mode, Pikachu Pillow from , then hotel, then train, got separated from the group, met up with (she finally arrived ) and her group and jumped on the next train. Caught up with everyone finally and got chewed into a bit for disappearing Took a while but we finally made it to Lil Tokyo, got separated from Jo's group since they were looking for the Spicy Ramen challenge. Went to the restaurant of choice and had a wonderful meal, and got embarrassed by the whole restaurant joining in singing happy birthday. ==; bought my dinner (totally didn't have to but thank you ;-; ). and bought one of each type of ice cream that the restaurant had XD
Afterward we met at a shop for....more ice cream!~ XD I didn't have any though b/c I was getting a stomachache from something I ate earlier in the day. x.x; Hopped the train back and crashed at the hotel.
